Description
Discharge of Condition 6 of planning approval LA06/2016/1274/F which states "6. After completing any remediation works required under Conditions 4 and 5 and prior to occupation of the development, a verification report must be submitted in writing and agreed by the Council. This report must be completed by competent persons in accordance with the Model Procedures for the Management of Land Contamination (CLR11). The verification report must present all the remediation and monitoring works undertaken and demonstrate the effectiveness of the works in managing all the risks and achieving the remedial objectives and demonstrate that: all fuel associated pipework and infrastructure has been located, decommissioned and removed in accordance with PPG27 Installation, Decommissioning and Removal of Underground Storage Tanks. All remaining soils (or base and side-walls of all excavations) are to be proven suitable for the proposed end-use (Residential end use with gardens). Reason: Protection of environmental receptors to ensure the site is suitable for use.
