Description

Non-material change of planning application LA03/2024/0435/F - (Proposed erection of a 79MW Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) Facility including MV skids (transformer and inverter), outdoor switchgear compound, DNO substation control room, welfare unit, spare parts container, switchroom, new site boundary fencing, new access and ancillary development works); The 110kV substation compound, one MV skid and four BESS units have been omitted. The NIE switchroom has been amended to meet NIE requirements and an additional switchroom building has been added. The BESS facility will now export onto the 33kV network over four separate connections and the existing compound has been sub-divided into four separate compounds with separate customer switchrooms
