Description

Following the previous consent (Application Reference: PP-14347367), works were undertaken to pollard the first six Lime trees to a height of approximately 10 metres. We now seek permission to carry out comparable works to the remaining eleven Lime trees, reducing them to a uniform pollard height of approximately 10 metres in order to establish consistency across the tree line. Thereafter, all trees will be managed under a cyclical repollarding regime in accordance with the recommendations set out in BS3998:2010 ? Tree Work: Recommendations. This will involve periodic re-cutting at appropriate intervals to maintain the established pollard framework, promote healthy regrowth, minimise structural stress, and ensure long-term arboricultural sustainability.
