Description

Tree A is a large multi stemmed Ash (Fraxinus Excelsior). Tree B is a small Alder (Alnus glutinosa ). They are both growing in extreme close proximity to the leat wall and a sewage pumping station consequently there is concern about future damage which may be caused to both pieces of infrastructure. Both trees will be reduced to ground level, it will not be appropriate to replant replacement trees in a similar area as this will yield the same problems at a later date. Possibility of siting replacement trees within the wider Belper river gardens area.
