Tree:- Tall tree No.1 = Pine Tree (Right beside Holt House Annexe) Action:- Prune and reduce the overall height of the tree, thus reducing impact on said Annexe and opening up view to the gardens and vistas beyond. Tree:- Tall trees No.s 2&3 = Conifer Trees (Right on the boundary and to the left of neighbouring Gorton Cottage as you look at the Sketch Plan). Action:- Both trees are very tall and would most certainly cause damage to Gorton Cottage if they came down, therefore we would like to reduce the height by approximately 1/3 of their current height and prune the overall crown retaining the consistency of appearance. Tree:- Tall trees No.s 4&5 = Silver Birch (Top Left hand corner of Sketch Plan as you look at it) Action:- Tall Silver Birch trees in front of very old and very tall boundary trees, not wanted and they will continuously take good out of the grounds thus affecting quality of ground for younger scrubs and flowers. We would like to fell both trees in their entirety. Tree:- Tall tree No.6 = Conifer, near Holt Cottage to the left bottom of Sketch Plan as you look at it. Action:- This tree is very tall and would most certainly cause damage to Holt Cottage if it came down, therefore we would like to reduce the height by approximately 1/3 of their current height and prune the overall crown retaining the consistency of appearance. Tree:- Large Apple tree positioned between flower and scrub beds and hedging. Action:- Very large and very old apple tree, one of several in the garden but one we would like to remove in its entirety to open up that part of lawns, and protect the quality of the grounds around it. General note:- We would like permission to implement an annual pruning plan of all trees within the gardens to ensure ongoing quality of tree growth as well as preserving the overall appearance of the trees and allowing for sun and air quality to both the trees and the grounds around said trees.
