Description

English Oak Tree T1 - Proposed Tree Works Tree would benefit from a crown reduction of approximately 25% of its total crown volume (see photo number 3). The branch extending SW at 6m height appears suitable for a fracture/coronet pruning cut, made at approximately 3m from main stem/union (see photo number 1). Reduce length of high branch extending West by 3-4m; pruning cuts made to BS 3998 are appropriate (see photo number 2). Reduce length of branches on Northern aspect by approximately 2m; pruning cuts made to BS 3998 are appropriate. Reduce length of branches on North Eastern aspect by approximately 2m; pruning cuts made to BS 3998 are appropriate. Reduce height and extent of highest secondary branches, extending East from the central/main stem, which forms the Southern aspect of tree; pruning cuts made to BS 3998 are appropriate.
