Description

T1 on the sketch plan is a Horse Chestnut approximately 15M in height. Its original main stem has either failed in the past or been removed, contains deadwood and bark shedding, with several fruiting bodies of Polyporus squamosus. Due to the poor condition, species type and location close to the main footpath, Felling to ground level is proposed. T2 is an Ash 12m in height and containing approximately 25% of Ash Die Back disease symptoms. Felling this tree is proposed due to the condition and location with little chance of recovery. Both trees are close by to several other tree specimens which will continue the local cover and interest.
