Description

Application for the removal of, Contorted Hazel tree, situated in the front garden of the property. My client wishes to apply for the removal of this Contorted Hazel tree for various reasons, mainly being that the tree has now grown too large for its setting, and is interfering with power lines that run along the street. We considered a reduction however given the nature of the trees growth, a reduction to a point below the power lines would be to detrimental to the tree, therefore we feel its removal would be our best option. If given the permission, we would dismantle and fell the tree on site, the wood be used for fuel and the remaining branches chipped and used as biomass. My client would be willing to plant a replacement tree in its place, but will be open to suggestions from the local council.
