Description

Over the 16 years that the applicant has lived in the property, the trees have almost doubled in height and width to reach around 10 metres and a diameter of around 1 metre. The trees were topped by around 5 metres in 2020 under a separate planning consent (TRE/2020/0685), however, they continue to grow and are dominating the garden. The proposed work to be carried out is to remove the two Leylandii/Cypress Trees identified on the sketch plan (Figure 1) as Tree 1 and Tree 2. The work is to be carried out by JB Landscapes Ltd, who will cut the trees in to sections before removing them and grinding out the trunk to around 0.5 metres below ground.
