Description
The existing building is the old kitchen which is 4m long by 2m wide. Our proposal is to demolish the existing building (except the south west facing wall by the side entry) and build a modern Orangery type extension in its place. The dimensions of the new building would be 5m long by 3.5m wide. The rear window of the old house would be bricked up and the North East side of the new building would be brick and windows. This side of the building would be built 50cm from the existing wall/fence which is part of our property. The garden facing side of the building would be made of glass with a Bi-fold type door for access. The pitched roof would be tiled with 4 velux windows. Inside the extension we propose to removed the existing doorway between the old dining room and old kitchen and remove part of the internal existing rear house wall to make the new extension and the old dining room into one larger kitchen/sunroom. The old dining room has already been converted into a modern kitchen. We also propose to install a downstairs loo into the new extension (please see attached plan).
