Description

Listed building consent for external and internal alterations including replacement flat roof to rear incorporating two skylights. New resin-bond flooring to beer garden, extending partially into the car park. The removal of low-level planters and wall sections as well as the existing pergola being relocated, and a new fence with central opening proposed to the boundary of the beer garden. Internally, works include removing a central ground-floor column, adjusting the bar layout and new steps to suit, addition of food hoist and replacing fixed seating. The accessible toilet will be relocated, and the ladies’ toilet lobby reconfigured. Selected doors and stud walls will be removed or adapted to suit the revised layout. The first floor staircase will be relocated to provide access to the escape corridor.
